Don’t forget: Our congregation has been invited to Kingman’s Cross of Christ’s “SonDay in the Park” next week, August 21st, beginning at 11:00AM on Hualapai Mountain at Hualapai Mountain County Park southeast of Kingman. Cross of Christ congregation is furnishing burgers and brats and asking everyone to bring their own drinks and a dish or dessert to pass. After the noon picnic lunch, there will be games and fun for all.
To get to the park from I-40, take the Beale Street South exit and proceed to Stockton Hill Road/Hualapai Mountain Road, turning right at that intersection; or, take the Stockton Hill Road South exit and continue on Stockton Hill Road which becomes Hualapai Mountain Road at the Andy Devine intersection. Proceed southeast on Hualapai Mountain Road a little over 11 miles to the Hualapai Mountain County Park entrance.
For directions to enter the park, please see the August 14 Sunday bulletin or call the office. Also, please let our office know by Monday, August 15, if you intend to attend so that we can provide Cross of Christ with an approximate number for their planning.
