On Tuesday, May 18, the Directors of Our Saviour Lutheran Church met and discussed changes to the COVID precautions. The decision was as follows,
- Masks are not required outside.
- Masks are required for entry and while moving about in the church building and fellowship hall.
- Masks are optional while seated in the sanctuary in the marked pews or while seated at the short ends of the tables in the fellowship hall.
- Social distancing is required at all times. Please maintain a distance of six feet between you and those who are not in your family “bubble.” If you cannot maintain that distance, wear your mask.
- Should a case of COVID be diagnosed in the congregation, we will likely need to mask again. If you test positive, please inform the office as soon as possible to prevent the spread.
Christian love compels us to work together on such issues and to lay aside our political and personal thoughts about masking, distancing, etc., in the interests of keeping the congregation united and safe. Thank you for your continued understanding and compassion as we make our way forward in Christ.
