Jesus doesn’t say, “I’ll show you the way,” but rather “I AM the Way. I AM the Truth. I AM the life.” It’s the most inclusive truth of all. Jesus lived and died to save the whole world from itself.
It’s also the most exclusive truth of all. There is no other way to heaven but through Jesus, the Savior of the world. He took all the world’s sins on Himself and paid for them with His perfect life and death, and opened the door to eternal life for all.
Jesus is the Cornerstone the builders rejected, but on Him everything is built and by Him all things are measured, as both our 1st and 2nd lessons together with our Psalm attest.
May the Lord draw us closer to Himself today that we may follow where He has gone! He lives to be the only Way to heaven!
