Thanks to those who have been buying needed supplies for the congregation. Everyone has been so generous, but we need a little more help. When you give supplies to the church, please bring your receipts to the church office during office hours, so that we can properly record the amounts spent on supplies and so that we can make note of where the supplies were placed on site. If this step is skipped, then next year’s budget will be unwittingly written with less for the supplies than is truly needed, because the Council did not know about what was spent by members outside of the Treasurer’s system for tracking expenditures. It can also happen that purchases of the same supplies are made, because those who do the purchasing check only the assigned supply storage places. Thanks in advance for your cooperation in helping us keep accurate records, so that we can put a larger portion of our budget toward sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with Lake Havasu.
